Tests

Results you can see

  • results of tests you had done at the surgery
  • test results the hospital has sent to us

Results you will not see

  • test results that the hospital hasn’t sent to us
  • The hospital may contact you about your result or tell you how to get your result

If the practice has requested you to have tests, one of the team will review the results first. We’ll make them available to you online on the NHS App or via Patient Access.

We will not routinely contact you to discuss tests but we may send you a text message about your results. These texts will go to the NHS App first and then to your phone messages if you don’t read it on the App in a few hours. If you change your contact details, please update us.
